30 The sons of Asher were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, and Beriah; Serah was their sister. 31 The sons of Beriah were Heber and Malkiel, who had Birzaith. 32 Heber had Japhlet, Shomer, Hotham, and Shua their sister. 33 Japhlet had Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath. 34 His brother Shomer had Rohgah, Hubbah, and Aram. 35 His brother Helem had Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal. 36 Zophah had Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah, 37 Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran, and Beera. 38 Jether had Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara. 39 Ulla had Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia. 40 These were Asher's sons, all of them responsible, excellent in character, and brave in battle - good leaders. They listed 26,000 combat-ready men in their family tree.

Genealogies.

Here is no account either of Zebulun or Dan. We can assign no reason why they only should be omitted; but it is the disgrace of the tribe of Dan, that idolatry began in that colony which fixed in Laish, and called it Dan, Revelation 7. Men become abominable when they forsake the worship of the true God, for any creature object.
