What Every Son Yearns to Hear from His Dad

Right after Jesus’s baptism, the heavens opened up and the Father’s voice spoke from heaven, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17 NKJV).
Right after Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James, and John, the Father’s voice again boomed from heaven, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 17:5).
The second person of the Godhead, Jesus, received on two different occasions, approval and affirmation for his life’s direction.
If Jesus needed this from his Father in heaven, how much more do sons here on earth need the same thing from their earthly fathers?
Dads, make sure that you tell your sons how much you love them. How proud you are of them. They yearn to hear these words from you.
