Richard Francis Weymouth (1822 to 1902)

Richard Francis Weymouth was born in Plymouth Dock, Devonshire, England. Following a career of teaching, he retired to devote himself to Bible study and textual analysis of the Greek New Testament. The most noted of his subsequent writings was The New Testament in Modern Speech, published in 1903, a year after Weymouth's death.
