¹⁷ He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

¹⁷ He who has pity on the poor gives to the Lord, and the Lord will give him his reward.

¹⁷ Whoso is lending 'to' Jehovah is favouring the poor, And his deed He repayeth to him.
