The Bible tells us that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). When Adam and Eve sinned against God's command to not eat the fruit from the tree of good and evil, sin came into the world. Since that first act of disobedience, sin has separated humanity from God, bringing consequences that Scripture describes as spiritual death (Romans 6:23). Yet the Bible doesn't leave us without hope. It also reveals God's plan to conquer sin once and for all through His Son.
