Fresh off a historic tour, Christian singer Forrest Frank shows no signs of slowing down, announcing two new projects this month that build on a breakthrough year. Frank revealed Wednesday that his next album, The Jesus Generation, will arrive Dec. 4, featuring collaborations with Lecrae, KB, JVKE, Michael W. Smith, ZVC and Elevation Rhythm. He also invited fans to choose the album’s next single, sharing clips of nine songs and pledging to release on Friday the one that draws the most comments.
Frank had little else to say about the album, although a news release said it “continues Forrest’s social commentary on the country’s current spiritual revival, first reflected on in his May 2026 single The Jesus Generation.” The album takes its title from Frank’s summer 2026 tour, which included stadiums and arenas in 29 cities and sold out venues from coast to coast. Billed as the largest Christian music tour in history, it entered Pollstar’s LIVE75 chart at No. 5 and the Global Concert Pulse chart at No. 12. Both services rank touring acts across genres, including major secular artists.
Frank has won five Dove Awards and received three Grammy nominations. Barely 24 hours after the announcement, Frank’s Instagram post included more than 12,000 comments—a sign of his popularity and fans’ anticipation of the album. But the album isn’t the only new project featuring Frank’s music.
The singer previously announced The Jesus Generation Movie, an upcoming documentary that chronicles his summer tour and will land in theaters next year via Lionsgate and Kingdom Story Company. A teaser trailer includes concert footage blended with behind-the-scenes clips and personal testimony. It features appearances by Rick Rubin, Philip Anthony Mitchell, Sadie Robertson Huff, Chris Tomlin, Michael W. Smith and Jelly Roll.
This summer, Frank emphasized that the tour’s purpose reached well beyond music.
“We’re here to do the work of the Lord and bring as many people as we can into heaven,” he said on JP Pokluda’s Becoming Something podcast.
The goal of the tour, he said, was to “make heaven crowded.”
