The Heritage’s Moving, Soul-Stirring Live ‘Home’ Performance
The Heritage’s Moving, Soul-Stirring Live ‘Home’ Performance from Universal Music Group on GodTube.
Sin, ever since it made its appearance, has wrecked and destroyed our world. Everything that sin comes into contact with is instantly and forever made worse. Marriages, careers, and entire lives have been ruined because of sin. Sin and humanity’s continued disobedience and obstinance are great, to say the least.
However, while sin in our fallen and lost world is great, there is one who is greater. While people are hurting and suffering, desperately searching for something, anything to alleviate their pain, there is one who offers comfort, love and healing. There is an answer to all that ails us and our fallen, lost world.
As The Heritage so beautifully sings, Jesus Christ has defeated sin and death by willfully going to and dying on the cross. He now freely offers us the opportunity to experience true freedom – to be forgiven of sin and find strength and a home in His outstretched arms.
The lyrics and message of the group’s tune are powerful and full of truth. People no longer must live in their sin and shame. We don’t have to be held back by the hurt and humiliation of our past failures and stumbles. Jesus Christ has made a way. He can wipe all that away and make us a new creation in Him.
“Death don’t have a say anymore
I’m free, saved, washed by the blood
I found a home in the father’s love”
If those words don’t get you fired up or make you emotional, I’m not sure what will. We have a Savior who has overcome this world, sin and death. Praise His name!
Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
