AJ Howard | Superbowl Champion, App State Alum, & USC Coach | Full Interview | UNPACKIN' it Podcast

AJ Howard played strong safety at Appalachian State from 2014-2017, where he was a captain, won 3 bowl games, and 2 conference championships. He enters his first season as a defensive analyst/assistant linebackers coach at USC (Southern Cal). Previously, AJ was the outside linebackers coach at App State from 2023-24. He was named to the 35 Under 35 Class for 2024 from the American Football Coaches Association.

He spent 2 years in the NFL as a player with the Cardinals, Giants, and Patriots, and won a Super Bowl ring as a member of the New England Patriots in 2019. Howard spent 2021 and 2022 as a Southeast area scout for the Patriots.

AJ is a husband, father, and follower of Jesus.
