It never ceases to amaze me how many times in my life that I prayed for things and then I, in hindsight, go back to the Lord and thank Him for not answering those prayers. I know we often, when we are intense in prayer, we want something from God. I've seen it with my eyes.
Most people, when He doesn't answer their prayer the way they want to, they are discouraged. Some of them even leave the church. But here's where I'm going to encourage you.
I prayed some prayers and I begged God for things that God never granted me. I can tell you, I am thankful that He did not answer those prayers because had He answered one of those, I wouldn't be here today. And so I want you to be encouraged.
Trust Him because He sees the future you don't.
