Philippians 2:5-10

Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth.

Because of what Jesus has done for you, He’s worthy of any honor you can give to Him!

Jesus has existed for all eternity as God the Son, in perfect loving relationship with God the Father and with the Holy Spirit. When He also became a man, he lived in this fallen world, experienced the pains of mortal life, was hurt and abused by others, and finally had all mankind’s evil guilt placed on His beautiful pure soul. His relationship with God the Father was ripped apart. He took your sin, and gave you His righteousness.

He died for you so that you could live with God. What would be too much for you to do for Him who loves you like that?
