This being Christmas week, we're going to do something a little special. For the next five days we're going to read specific parts of the Christmas story, each day, considering the experience and example of different participants. We'll start with Mary and then move on to Joseph, the shepherds, the wise men and finally the angels. 

So today, put yourself in Mary's shoes for a moment. What did Mary's encounter with the angel Gabriel reveal to her (and us) about God? What did you learn from Mary about responding to God's call? What about praising God even when we may not fully understand our circumstances? Tami
