Family Benefits

Romans 8:14-17

Paul tells us point blank that if we’ve received Christ as our Savior, we are children of God and fellow heirs with Jesus (Romans 8:16-17). Now, being a child of God makes sense to me. I can understand it because I’ve been part of an earthly family all my life. But the idea of being a joint heir with Christ isn’t so clear for me. It’s pretty mind blowing to just think about getting an eternal inheritance, and that’s before the sharing it with Jesus part.

So what does being a child of God mean to you? What does Romans 8:14-17 tell you about how God loves and values you? Tami W.
