A low point is how I would describe what we read in Judges 12:1-7 today. On the heels of Jephthah losing his only daughter, the men of Ephraim (fellow Israelites) show up in an angry rage to kill Jephthah because they missed out on being part of the victory over the Ammonites. The situation escalates and at the end of it all 42,000 men are dead.
What does Judges 12:1-7 show us about pride? What role did pride play in this sad outcome? Tami
