Be Someone’s Hero Today
By David Chadwick

I think our world needs more heroes. What is a hero? It’s someone who stands for truth amidst injustice. Someone who refuses to hate but steadfastly loves. It’s a person who supports the weak and underserved, often at his or her own expense.

What about you? Would someone call you a hero today? Do you stand up for the person who is needy? The person who believes has no future or hope?

It’s interesting to see how the Marvel comic book characters have become so popular in movies today. Is it because they are true heroes and our world hungers for heroes? Is it because they fight evil and quest for truth all over the world?

I think so.

Therefore, be a hero today. Find a hurt and heal it. Find a need and fill it. It doesn’t have to be a huge deal; just some way that you are making this world a little better place in which to live.

When you do, you’re a hero.

And the world needs more of them.
