Marketing Plan Questions – Question 6

In my book, “Unconventional Business,” I highlighted seven questions from marketing guru, Seth Godin, that may help you shape your marketing plan. The sixth question is, “Why should your customers buy your product or service?”

Author, Simon Sinek, expanded our thinking with a Ted talk around the concept of “Starting with Why.”

According to Simon, great marketing companies promote a cause or belief system that makes you want to join the cause more than just buying a commodity.

In Luke 4:43 Jesus said, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.”

Jesus promoted His message by sharing about the attractiveness of the Kingdom of God. Do your customers know why your products and services exist?
