Men of Courage

Medal of Honor recipient, Dakota Meyer, risked his life running through enemy fire in Afghanistan 5 times in an attempt to save the lives of his fellow soldiers. Unfortunately, they were dead when he arrived.
A 60 Minutes reporter asked him why he went in. He said, “There were U.S. troops getting shot at and those are your brothers.” What Mr. Meyer did is a model of love and courage. He risked his life for others.
Paul taught in 1 Corinthians 16:13, “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love.”
Although most of us will not be physically at risk, we do have seasons when our brothers and sisters in the faith need our love and courage spiritually. Be courageous.
