Dr. Evelyn Hill, a Kansas City, Kansas, school district board member, shared at a “Caring for Kids” banquet that most of her students are on public assistance. Dr. Hill has discovered that these students need what she calls IHOP; Individualized Hope from Other People.
She encouraged the audience to share words of hope and encouragement with the children in their path.
In the workplace, we have many deeply depressed people and millions of addicts. These people also need hope.
Psalm 146:5, “How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God.”
Today, look around your workplace to see who could use a dose of Individualized Hope from Other People, and point them to the source of hope, Jesus Christ.
