Burn Out
By: Rick Boxx
September 25, 2013

It was nearing the end of Matt’s 3rd quarter when he noticed he had lost his motivation and drive for his work. For months, he had been toiling physically, mentally, and emotionally on his business; morning, noon, and night, and he was exhausted.

He realized his issue was a result of burn out, but he needed a solution to re-energize his heart, mind, and spirit. He found the answer in the book of Proverbs.

Proverbs 11:25 teaches, “A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.” Matt discovered that slowing down the pace with work, and refocusing his purpose on helping and encouraging others, rejuvenated him physically and spiritually.

If you’re feeling burned out, slow down, refocus, and get refreshed by refreshing and encouraging others.

Today’s Integrity Moment was adapted with permission from the writings of Matt Cline.
