Hearing from God – Part I

This week we’re using the acronym HEAR to talk about four ways to hear from God. The H stands for Holy Spirit.

God desires a two-way communication with His children. It’s easy to spend my prayer time on my requests, but harder to be still and listen to the Holy Spirit.

Many articles I have written have come from my request to God for divine insight. When I stop to listen, the Holy Spirit often reminds me of a passage.

Jesus said in John 14:26, “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

When you pray about your work, give God some time to respond. Then listen carefully.
