Our Persecuted Peers

“The Insanity of God” by Nik Ripken, is a compilation of stories by a missionary who traveled the world interviewing over 700 Christians who have been persecuted. Many of the people he interviewed didn’t wonder if they would ever be persecuted, but instead, wondered when and how frequently.

Our laws in America still allow us to publicly express our faith and lead our business with biblical standards, yet many keep silent. Our Christian brothers and sisters, however, in other countries speak boldly, knowing that persecution is coming.

Paul taught in 2 Timothy 3:12, “Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”

While we still have freedoms that come with very little cost, let’s exercise them fully for the glory and advancement of God’s Kingdom.
