Building Stronger Relationships
By: Rick Boxx
February 13, 2014

Although Valentine’s Day is focused on the person we love and expressing that love to them, what if in the month of February we focused on loving others in our workplaces as well?

Here’s an exercise that may help you build stronger workplace relationships. Pick someone in your workplace with whom you have a strained relationship that seems to need improved.

Now with that person in mind, read and meditate over the familiar love passage in 1 Corinthians 13, substituting your name for the word love.

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered.”

After pondering this passage, let’s go live it.
