Being a GIVER - Part II

Since December is the biggest giving month of the year, let’s discuss being a Giver this week, using that word as an acronym.

The letter I stands for Innovative. A serious giver looks for innovative ways to be even more generous.

A generous friend of mine recently shared his excitement about discovering that he could donate a small percentage of his family business to his National Christian Foundation Donor Advised fund, while still maintaining control over his business.

This saved taxes, which freed up even more cash to give to the ministries he cherishes.

Proverbs 16:20 teaches, “Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.”

To enhance your efforts in being a Giver look for innovative ways to be more generous.
