When it’s back-to-school time many parents are looking for a little grace and a family-friendly workplace. It takes time and effort for involved parents to get kids settled into a new school year.
One way for an employer to build loyalty with their employees is to allow parents flexibility when needed. Since the work that these parents/employees still needs to get done, some creative solutions may be required.
Shifting their responsibilities to others temporarily, or a more flexible schedule, may be helpful to young parents.
1 Peter 4:10 teaches, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
If your team members are faced with back-to-school duties, consider ways to faithfully steward God’s grace to them.
