A Fivefold Ministry Plan-Part IV
By: Rick Boxx
April 9, 2015

This week we’re discussing a five part strategy for developing a business ministry plan. The fourth part is “Ministering to the Poor and Oppressed.”

Many businesses now realize that they have a social responsibility to their community. According to Scripture, part of that social responsibility should be for the poor and oppressed.

God gave the Israelites specific instructions about this responsibility.

In Leviticus 19:9 we read, “When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the foreigner.”

If you develop a ministry plan, give thought to how to best serve the poor and oppressed.
