The Power of Daily
This devotional was written by Jim Burns

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. —Psalm 118:24

An unbalanced (or undisciplined) life will not be kind to us in the areas we neglect. The secret to living a vibrant and no-compromise faith is in the power of “DAILY.” Daily we are to come to God and renew our commitment and relationship. He will give us the strength to live daily for Him. Daily we can recognize His lordship in our life, and daily we will find the power to live for God. Here is a simple but excellent way to remember the truth and power of D.A.I.L.Y. to use in your life.

Decide to Follow God Daily. Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness (see 1 Timothy 4:7).

Adore and Praise God Daily. The Lord inhabits our praise (see Psalm 22:3).

In the Word Daily. The word is a lamp to your feet and a light for your path (see Psalm 119:105).

Love Others Daily. This is the message you have heard from the beginning. You should love one another (see 1 John 3:11).

Yahweh Reigns. The Lord reigns forever (see Psalm 146:10).

GOING DEEPER:

1. Read Psalm 118:24, and then write out how it applies to your life today.

2. What specific steps can you take today to live out the power of DAILY in your life?
