UNDER HIS CARE

Read: Psalm 95

Key Verse: “For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care.” - Psalm 95:7

It surprises me sometimes how reluctant people (including myself) are to turn to God and receive His care. Why not cast your anxiety on Him: Is it really that great to carry it by yourself? Why not open your heart to receive His comfort: Are unnecessary pain and loneliness real friends? Why not trust His promises: Are your feelings more reliable than His Word?

When you put your trust in Jesus, you belong to Him. You are forgiven, accepted, loved, and part of His family forever. Your soul now has rest, and Overseer, and a Good Shepherd. It is time to let Him lead you through disappointment, mourning, questions, challenges, frustrations, and conflict. When you resist His care, you are denying the source of your peace and the kindness of His hand. God really wants to hold, nourish, and reassure you.
