Life's so Unfair
by Berni Dymet
Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God
Sometimes life just doesn't seem fair does it. Someone does something and we miss out - and it is just so unfair!
It happens right through life doesn't it. Things are unfair. And we absolutely hate it when we're on the wrong end of that. We hate injustice. It's not right. It shouldn't be that way.
Imagine for a minute that you're God. You're heavily into justice. Right is right and wrong is wrong. And then you look at you and me - and you see a couple of people who you really love. Your sense of justice says - they've rejected me. They don't deserve eternal life.
But your Father's heart says - I love them so much. What does God do?
He does something unfair. He sends His Son Jesus to die for you and me. And when we just believe in Jesus - that's all it takes - He opens the doors of heaven for us.
That is so unfair. God calls it grace.
It's a Jesus thing.
