⁷ And seek the peace of the city whither I have removed you, and pray for it unto Jehovah, for in its peace ye have peace.

⁷ But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.

⁷ And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare."
