⁸ For when I spoke, I cried out; I shouted, "Violence and plunder!" Because the word of the Lord was made to me A reproach and a derision daily.

⁸ For each time I speak , I cry aloud ; I proclaim violence and destruction , Because for me the word of the Lord has resulted In reproach and derision all day long.

⁸ For every word I say is a cry for help; I say with a loud voice, Violent behaviour and wasting: because the word of the Lord is made a shame to me and a cause of laughing all the day.
