¹⁷ And as he taught them, he said, "Is it not written: 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations'[1]? But you have made it 'a den of robbers.'[2]"

¹⁷ And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all [3] nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

¹⁷ He taught, saying to them, “Isn’t it written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations?’ [4] But you have made it a den of robbers!” [5]

¹⁷ and he was teaching, saying to them, 'Hath it not been written—My house a house of prayer shall be called for all the nations, and ye did make it a den of robbers?'
