⁷ "Thus no inheritance of the sons of Israel shall be transferred from tribe to tribe , for the sons of Israel shall each hold to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers .

⁷ And so no property will be handed from tribe to tribe among the children of Israel; but every one of the children of Israel will keep the heritage of his father's tribe.

⁷ None of the territorial land may pass from tribe to tribe, for all the land given to each tribe must remain within the tribe to which it was first allotted.
