⁷ " They shall no longer sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat demons with which they play the harlot . This shall be a permanent statute to them throughout their generations ."'

⁷ And let them make no more offerings to evil spirits, after which they have gone, turning away from the Lord. Let this be a law to them for ever, through all their generations.

⁷ They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols[1] to whom they prostitute themselves. This is to be a lasting ordinance for them and for the generations to come.'
