⁸ God has taken a solemn oath, an oath he means to keep: "Never again will I open your grain-filled barns to your enemies to loot and eat. Never again will foreigners drink the wine that you worked so hard to produce.

⁸ Jehovah hath sworn by his right hand and by the arm of his strength, I will indeed no more give thy corn [to be] food for thine enemies; and the sons of the alien shall not drink thy new wine, for which thou hast laboured;

⁸ The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm , "I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies ; Nor will foreigners e drink your new wine for which you have labored ."
