⁷ Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have [1] you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.

⁷ It is right for me to think this way about all of you, because you hold me in your heart, [2] for all of you share in God's grace [3] with me, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.

⁷ So it is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a special place in my heart. You share with me the special favor of God, both in my imprisonment and in defending and confirming the truth of the Good News.
