11:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These [are] the beasts which ye a shall eat among all the beasts that [are] on the earth.
(a) Or, of which ye may eat.
11:3 Whatsoever parteth the b

(b) He notes four types of beasts, some that chew

Of their c flesh shall ye not eat, and
their carcase shall ye not touch; they [are] unclean to you.
(c) God would that by this for a time they should

11:10 And all that have not
fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that d
move in the waters, and of any e living
thing which [is] in the waters, they [shall be] an abomination unto you:
(d) As little fish begotten in the slime.
(e) As they which come of generation.
[Even] these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the f

(l) He speaks of seed that is laid to sleep
