⁶ And the other wife did everything possible to make her unhappy, because the Lord had not let her have children;

⁶ And her adversary also provoked [1] her sore, for to make her fret, because the Lord had shut up her womb.

⁶ But her rival wife taunted her cruelly, rubbing it in and never letting her forget that God had not given her children.
