Forrest Frank Says He’s Been Miraculously Healed after Breaking His Back, ‘Thank You Jesus’

Barely two weeks after a terrifying fall left him with two fractured vertebrae, singer Forrest Frank says he's experienced a miracle -- and has been healed. A visibly joyful Forrest Frank posted a video to Instagram on Saturday, sharing that he had woken up pain-free -- so much so that he forgot about his injury and picked up his two-year-old son before remembering what had happened. Subsequent X-rays, he said, showed the fracture was gone.

Frank sustained the injury on July 19 while skateboarding in front of his house, and a subsequent X-ray and CT scan revealed fractures in his L3 and L4 vertebrae. While bedridden during recovery, he recorded two songs: God's Got My Back and Lemonade (the latter a collaboration with The Figs).

Those fractures, though, are now gone.

"So I broke my back exactly two weeks ago today -- [this is] day 14," a smiling Frank says in the video. "... I wake up today, forget to put on my back brace. Just start doing the morning. I pick Bodie up, and then I realized, 'Wait, I'm not wearing my brace. What is going on?'… [I] order an urgent X-ray, and go get the X-ray. I have complete healing in my back. I have no fractures in my back -- no sign of a fracture in my back. So praise God -- we saw a miracle."

Frank noted that he "could not move an inch without excruciating pain" after the fall. In the video, he was still wearing a brace as a precaution, but said he believes God healed him.

"Did we just witness a miracle happen or do i have the fastest bones OF ALL TIME," he wrote on Instagram with a smiling emoji. "I'm pretty much convinced God would've healed me day 1 from all these prayers, but He wanted these songs & this testimony come to life. Regardless, i'm here for it all … ruined for the ordinary. THANK YOU JESUS."

The Christian community had rallied in prayer for Frank, who is one of the most popular artists in the industry -- especially among teens. Last week, singer Tauren Wells led 5,000 fans in a prayer for Frank during his performance at the Ohio State Fair, later posting the moment to Instagram and tagging Frank, who said he was humbled by the outpouring of support.
