The Merciful Heart of Christ for Those Who Are Suffering | Your Nightly Prayer

Jesus, You are gentle and humble in heart. When I feel overwhelmed by grief, pain, or fear, remind me that Your merciful heart is for those who are suffering. You are not distant. You are not indifferent. You draw near to the brokenhearted. In my sorrow, help me rest in Your compassion. You wept at the tomb of Lazarus. You healed the wounded. You touched the outcast. You are the same today. When I don’t understand the “why,” help me trust the “Who.” Let me learn from You—Your patience, Your love, Your tender mercy in suffering. Comfort not only me, but every soul tonight who is quietly carrying pain. Thank You for being a Savior who suffers with us and offers hope beyond this moment. In Your name, Amen.
