Mark 1:33-36

And the whole city had gathered at the door. And He healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew who He was. In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there. Simon and his companions searched for Him.

Do not let busyness keep you from spending your time wisely!

Busyness is one of the devil’s most effective weapons in attacking your life. And be careful not to ignore this principle because your busyness has to do with good things.

If you have ever tried to get an accurate picture of where your money is going by writing down every cent you spend and how you spent it for a week or a month, you know what a shock it is to see how you are spending your money.

In the same way a true picture of how we are spending our time would be just as horrifying. God’s message to us today from Jesus’ own life is a warning. Do not let your busyness, even with good things, keep you from spending time with God each day. Start even your busiest day with prayer, as Jesus did. Time with God is only way to get your perspective back in track with God’s.
