How to make your life matter

May 25, 2012

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 5:20

The greatest joy anyone can have in life is the thrill of seeing people come to Jesus Christ. Yet, so many people just get up in the morning, fight traffic, get to work, drink their coffee, do their job, come home, take an aspirin, watch the news, go to bed, and do the same thing over and over again without ever investing their lives in those things which are eternal.

Now, I’m not saying there’s anything wrong in having a job and going to work every day. I’m just saying there ought to be something about your life that has eternal significance. And the way to give your life for the things that are eternal is to invest in the lives of others!

Think of it! You can win souls to Jesus Christ! You can take men and women from darkness to light, out of hell and into heaven to be a partner with God, an ambassador of the King. The highest and the noblest cause you have in life is to be an ambassador for Jesus Christ.

Our lives are filled with so much ordinary. But in Christ, you can transform it into eternal. So as you live your life, look for other people you can invest in and love them. Show them who Christ is and make a real difference for eternity!

IN CHRIST, THAT WHICH SEEMS ORDINARY CAN HAVE A REAL IMPACT ON ETERNITY. SO WHEREVER YOU ARE IN LIFE, BE AN AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST AND LEAD PEOPLE TO HIM!

Unlock the Power of Persistent Prayer

Dear Friend,

If you’re like most Christians, you would agree that prayer is a vital part of a vibrant spiritual life. But when it comes to your personal prayer life, perhaps there’s a difference between what you say and what you do.

To me, the reason for this is clear: most people don’t really know how to pray. That’s why I want to send you my brand new book, The Promise of Persistent Prayer. In this book I show you how you can tap into the promises of God and open the floodgates of His blessings. And I share with you the one thing that really matters when it comes to making your prayers heard.

The Promise of Persistent Prayer is my gift to thank you for your donation to PowerPoint this month, so please request your copy when you give. It’s my hope that this book will show you how to break out of the ordinary and unlock the power of prayer in your life!
