Integrity Moments - May. 4, 2011

Proper Credits
By Rick Boxx
May 4, 2011

Many of the suburbs in our metropolitan area host annual Prayer Breakfasts. As we were leaving the Overland Park Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, one of my guests shared that this event was in stark contrast to another Prayer Breakfast he had recently attended.

“This one was about glorifying God and giving Him credit for the miracles done in the speaker’s life,” he said. “The other one I attended had a moral message, but was void of any credit to God.”

Paul taught in Colossians 3:17, “Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

When God gives us victory in business or life, let’s remember who deserves the credit.
