One-Sided Conversations

Years ago, I felt slighted by an organization. Over time, the conflict in my mind became even bigger, leading me to send an email to the CEO expressing my concerns.

This leader never responded, leading me to even greater anger and frustration. Finally, I scheduled a time for coffee to confront the CEO directly.

The meeting was an embarrassment as I spewed out my pent-up frustration and anger only to learn that this person had never seen my email.

Romans 8:6 teaches, “The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.”

Our insecurities can sometimes be the foundation for conflict. If you’re having one-sided conversations, check to see if your mind is led by the Spirit or the flesh.
