An Uncommon Man Part II

Botanist and Inventor, George Washington Carver, was an uncommon man. Despite being born into slavery, Mr. Carver became respected by many famous people, including Henry Ford and President Theodore Roosevelt.

Even more uncommon was his willingness to give God credit. Mr. Carver once said,

“When I was young, I said to God, 'God, tell me the mystery of the universe.' But God answered, 'That knowledge is for me alone.' So I said, 'God, tell me the mystery of the peanut.' Then God said, 'Well George, that's more nearly your size.' And he told me.”

Psalm 16:7 says, “I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.”

If you desire to master your industry, consider asking God to unveil the mysteries of that industry.
