Hands-on Faith for Families– week of November 2, 2015

Theme:Giving Thanks with Our Lives

A Servant Shows Kindness to Others

Scripture:Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” (Psalm 148:13) ESV.

Play: Ask your children to pick one person and write a coupon for that person. The coupon should help your kids show kindness to someone that week. For example, a coupon might say, “This coupon is good for one use to help you clean your room this week.”

Talk: It feels good when someone says or does something kind for us. Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind to one another.” God shows kindness to us, and He wants us to be kind to others. When we are kind to other people, we show them God’s kindness and love, too. What is one way that you can be kind to someone?

Pray: Thank God for His kindness to you, and ask Him to help you show kindness to other people.
