Delete Your Past

“Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.”  Philippians 3:13

Do you ever find yourself talking about the past, only to have your friends or relatives telling you to LET IT GO! Nothing holds more power over your future than your past. It can be a stronghold in your life—a way for the enemy to stunt your growth. Do you have something in your past that you regret or can’t seem to forget? It’s time to let it go!

God does not work in our past; He works in today and tomorrow. What we believe determines what we get out of life, so why not believe the word of God?

Ask God to free you from your past. Ask for strength to let go and move forward. Thank Him for giving you a new start each and every day.

Write down anything in your past that you are holding on to or that is holding you back. When you are done, tear up the paper and throw it away. It’s time to graduate from your past; God will never show up there again!
