Nowhere He Is Not

Where can I go to get away from your Spirit? Where can I run from You? Psalm 139:7

The omnipresence of God can be something that causes some people discomfort. The fact is, there is nowhere that God is not. In every situation we are in, every place we go, everything we see and say and do, God is right there. That fact should cause us to think twice about our actions. It should cause us to be convicted when we are choosing those things that are outside of God’s will. But there’s something else we need to understand. The conviction that God causes in our lives isn’t something He does out of spite; He does that for us out of His eternal and ever-present love for us.

God loves us so much that He never, ever wants us to be outside of His presence. Do you experience God’s presence in your life? He’s right there. Have you turned to Him and welcomed Him into every situation you face?

Thank God for His omnipresence. Pray for His presence to remind you to choose the right things; the things that honor and glorify Him.

Read Psalm 139:7-12 for a picture and a reminder of God’s omnipresence in your life. Use this passage as a motivator to choose actions, thoughts and words that honor God all the time.
