Daily in Your Presence - March 4

Rebecca Barlow Jordan invites readers to discover the strength of their faith as she shares her personal struggles with strongholds and how God has helped her overcome them. Through Psalm 27:1 and her own experiences, Jordan encourages readers to look to God as their stronghold, breaking free from deceit and finding joy in His presence.

Day 63

STRONGHOLD

The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, have you learned when something is about to control you? If you don't close the door to the first invitation, a wrong habit will slip in and dominate your life. Let Me be your stronghold. Use My powerful name to break through every barrier. Run home to Me. I'm here to rescue you.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Like deep-planted roots, unpleasant strongholds have wound themselves around my heart. Only You, Lord, have the power to remove those forts of deceit. Thank You for rooting them out and helping me to see the truth. I look to You, Lord, as my only stronghold, the One who takes my fears away.

SIMPLE TRUTH

Where weeds once grew, God helps us cultivate again, so that "crop failure" will not rob our joy.
