Daily in Your Presence - July 3

Day 185

"When these things begin to take place,
stand up and lift up your heads,
because your redemption is drawing near."
Luke 21:28

My child, many will come and claim to be the Messiah during the last days. Terror will grip the hearts of people as the world tosses in confusion. Sights such as you have never seen will abound. But in the midst of all the turmoil, you'll see hope arrayed in white garments in the sky. At that point, look up—your redemption draws nigh. I will come for you in the twinkling of an eye. I am your redemption, and I could come today.

Lord, I don't have Simeon's promise that my eyes will visibly see You. But earthquakes, wars, violence, and strange signs indicate Your time is soon. You are my redemption, Lord. My final flight to freedom rests in the Father's timetable. I look forward to Your coming.

Hope finds a home in the arms of Jesus.
