Daily in Your Presence - April 30

This article from Rebecca Barlow Jordan's website explores the symbolism of being a "lily of the valleys" and how it relates to God's love and purity. Through personal reflection and biblical passages, readers are encouraged to visualize themselves as fragrant and beautiful, reflecting God's character and spreading His fragrance to others.

Day 121

LILY OF THE VALLEYS

I am a...
lily of the valleys.
Song of Solomon 2:1Genesis 1:31

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, will you just enjoy and celebrate My fragrance today? As we talk and share together, will you visualize the most beautiful and pure lily you can find, standing alone in the garden? Because that is what I want to make you. I am the lily of the valleys, and as My child, you, too reflect My purity and beauty. You, too, will be a fragrance to others, reminding them of who I am - and whose you are.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
You, Lord, are a fragrant lily among the thorns in the garden. You stand alone, a symbol of loveliness and purity. Each morning I inhale your fragrance that lingers throughout the day. You are the lily of the valleys. You are the most beautiful of all.

SIMPLE TRUTH

There is no sweeter perfume than the fragrance of God's love.
