URGENT: You Can Help Hurricane Florence Victims, Here's How...

Activate - March 11

Read: Psalm 103

Key Verse: “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:12

Why do people hold on to the guilt of their sins? The reason is usually pride and stubbornness. Once you have put your trust in Jesus as your Savior and Lord, your sins are not counted against you. It is true that there can be earthly consequences like prison, broken relationships, and physical damage as a result of rebellion against God. The truth is that there is eternal forgiveness through the death and resurrection of Jesus, and it starts now.

Is God pleased when you continue in guilt and shame after He has forgiven you? Many people falsely assume that God does not want them to experience the freedom and joy of His pardon. They are missing out on the glory of the gospel. You are forgiven, and you must forgive everyone else, including yourself. Let God be God and His Word penetrate your deepest pride and false guilt.
